Greetings and congrats from Canada. 11 years ago I was at U.S. border, idling in a older unused fire pumper some 2000 miles from NY. Some of us off duty members tried to find our Chief around noon to see if we could get permission to use the truck but could find him so we went to the storage area where the truck was to get her going. He was already there and said, I know you would come and old red is ready to roll, I don't know what you can do, but do what you can. I don't know what we could have done or if we'd even make it there, but there were five crazy Canadians crammed in an old red fire truck willing to do anything to help that day backed by the tears and the hopes of those who kissed us goodbye as we headed to the South, headed to the unknown. We remember and grieve the loss of innocents and stand with you today. "Onair Do Na Mairbh"

I KNEW people were gonna come out of the woodwork and fight about this. I understand that you're very open-minded so you're all good. It gets me down though. Especially since this image and its message is all too beautiful to me and doesn't deserve painfully worn arguments plastered all over the page. Thank you so much for sharing.
